AASHE Course: From Climate Anxiety to Action: Tools to Build a Radical Imagination

This six-part course series will provide a framework to understand the causes of climate anxiety and tools to turn that anxiety into action through cultivating radical imagination. Participants will learn to reframe climate action away from anxiety and toward community and learn tools that can be used at home, in the classroom, or in larger-scale organizing. Survey of Climate Communication and Education Organizations

This survey seeks to understand the programming, practices and challenges of nonformal climate communication and education in the U.S. (i.e., programming that takes place outside of formal curriculum). The information gathered by the project will be compiled in a publicly available report and used to produce a web-based directory, which will be featured at COP28 and on the Monitoring and Evaluating Climate Communication and Education (MECCE) Project’s interactive data platform.
